Pet care experience
I’ve had animals in my life for 35 years. Including: dogs, cat, fish and ferrets. I rescued my current dog from a shelter when he was 8 weeks old. He’s now almost 15 and is still the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m comfortable with dogs of any age and size. I’m a huge animal lover and spent 6 and a half years as a vegan.

I’m happy to walk, play, sit with, feed, throw balls, etc. I can also administer medications (my elderly dog is on several oral meds and I also administered shots every two weeks for his arthritis.

Please let me know if your dog has any special quirks that may be important. I have experience with an older dog (Boo is 14), my brothers GSP (Lucy) who has a lot of anxiety when out of the house and my former dog who had a tendency to be aggressive towards other people. I am happy to make special accommodations, administer meds, and will make your pet as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I love spending time outside with animals. I can take them around the neighborhood, play in the backyard, or take them out to Freedom track, along the Greenway, or anywhere else around town that they love.

I recently moved back to Morganton after several years away and I would love to start working with local animals. My schedule is very flexible and includes early mornings, weekends, etc.
