Pet care experience
I previously worked in daycare and boarding facilities for 2 years. And now I have been a veterinary technician for 2 years as well! I am currently in school so that I can become a licensed technician and further my career and education with animals!

Emily is my pup's new best friend. She loved on him, took him for a walk, and fed him exactly as I had requested. This was a last minute decision for me and Emily was able to accommodate. Emily is always my go to with every animal-related need or question I have. I have a senior cat and any time I am concerned about something with him Emily’s knowledge and advice always points me in the right direction. Not only is she very thorough but she truly cares about every animal in her care.
I have known Emily since high school, and we ended up working at two different jobs together; both working with animals (dogs in particular). Every animal Emily comes across is treated like her own - and I know everybody says that about whomever is getting referenced but with Emily it is actually true. She goes in early and stays late unasked and even unpaid to ensure the animals in her care are comfortable and have everything they need. Emily is as patient as the day is long, as well as honest, hardworking and gentle. I trust her with the care of my own animals and she has yet to let me down!
We have a 5 year old German shepherd mix who has had health issues. With Emily being a vet tech (as well as our daughter) she has been a huge asset in caring for him. She is very cautious and follows the vet instructions to the letter. She can administer medication like a pro and is very attentive. She knows how to read animal behavior and redirect or distract them accordingly. She has taken care of pets for neighbors and friends when they have gone on vacation several times so she has had a few "repeat" clients that trust her as much as we do.

I love to keep dogs minds active and busy! I like to use puzzle toys for enrichment. They’ll have a great time getting to know my neighborhood. There are several parks near by too!

I am currently working part-time at an animal hospital 3 days a week. On my 4 days off I have plenty of time to add in drop-in services or walks!
