Emily is a very bubbly and friendly girl. There are a few red flags such as the overly-filtered pictures on her profile. I’m having a hard time writing this review as honestly as I want to because during her sitting I made a mistake thinking she had someone else in our home. I think that was the general mistrust that was brought about when I saw her in real life and she showed up to her first sitting with her toddler in tow. Emily communicated with me very regularly, sent photos and all of that was great. But when I returned to my home, it reeked of urine. I do not have children, so this could be from the trash can full of diapers, or it could be from my dogs. It seemed to be both as I found uncleaned urine in the rug in the guest room. I left instructions about keeping things with food where the dogs can’t reach, and Emily let me know they got into her overnight pack, where there apparently was food but I’m not even sure what all they ate as she never shared that info, but I am picking up pieces of a shredded wonderbread bag that is a clue. My dog’s half-full water jug had been knocked to the side so there was no water flowing to the bowl and it seemed like it had been dry for at least an entire day. My dogs will go through the entire jug in a matter of a few days, and I filled it right before we left. My bathroom toilet flusher is broken, along with my toilet paper roll holder ripped from the wall. I understand accidents happen, but if you don’t say anything about damaging something in someone’s home and apologize for it at least, then I guess it ends up in a bad review.

Emily has been my primary sitter for a few years now! She is so great with animals and has a great attention to detail. She has her own relationship with my cats and has always been on time for feedings and sent the cutest pictures 🥰
