Hi there! I'm a bubbly and very responsible PhD student with a deep love for all furry creatures. I grew up around a medley of furry pals -- a German shepherd, a Cairn terrier, a cocker spaniel, dachshunds, foxhounds, and a variety of mixed breeds. So I've been a lifelong dog lover! I'm new to Rover, but I'm a proud mama to a beautiful diabetic pug with special needs (her name is Bella and she's perfect!), so I'm used to administering medication (oral or injected) and providing extra special care. I spend most of my time writing my dissertation, volunteering as a literacy tutor, reading, playing with my furry little lady, and making new dog friends at the lake shore or local cafes. I'm happy to provide affectionate drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and walks. I'm also happy to leave you a note about how your pup did during our time together. I'm also a proud cat mom to Lizzie, the sweet stray who showed up at my door eleven years ago and never left! If you're looking for someone to check in on your cat while you're at work or out of town, I'm happy to do that as well. Can't wait to hear from you and your furry friend!

I feel that I struck gold finding Emily on Rover! Within minutes of meeting her, I felt at ease with her looking after my dearest pup and also being in my home. She is a warm, proactive communicator, and she was attuned to my dog's needs as well as my own while I was traveling. I have been good friends with Emily for over a year now, and I have often spent time with her and her dog and cat.
