Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of many types of animals ranging from the golden retriever to the sugar glider! Whether watching pets for neighbors’ and friends’ or assisting veterinarians, I have seen and experienced a lot when it comes to animals. I’ve had a passion and love for them for as long as I can remember and believe each one should receive quality care and love. I understand that they’re more than just pets, they’re members of the family and deserve to be treated as such! I strongly believe in positive reinforcement and respecting each animal’s needs and boundaries. I also have a reliable car that I am more than willing to use in transportation, and I prioritize being on time whenever my services are needed. I welcome every opportunity to spend time with these loving creatures and would be honored to meet your fur (or fur-less) babies!

Emily was very accommodating to the dates and times that I requested her help. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care. She administered his medicine and made sure he was well taken care of.
Emily did a great job of taking care of my three dogs and cat while I was out of town. She provided them with plenty of attention and care. They we’re definitely enjoying her company and didn’t want her to leave.
Emily C gave our very spoiled beagle wonderful care while we were out of town. Emily visited at least 4 times throughout the day; walked and feed our dog and gave lots of loving just like we would have had we been home. Emily is very responsible and sent us updates at least once a day. We will be using her pet watching services in the future.
Emily absolutely loves animals and spending time with animals. At one point, she was considering studying to be a veterinarian. She has cared for our dog in our home and in her home, buying her special little treats and taking her on errands or walks to the park, trails, and in the neighborhood. Emily has also bathed our dog and loves nothing more than to cuddle with her!

The only pet living in my household is my roommate’s cat who can be kept in her bedroom when necessary. There is plenty of room for crating as well as for letting them roam free! Playtime and exercise can be at my complex’s free dog park, as well as many nearby parks that include their own dog parks and walking trails. Though I do not have a fenced in yard, there’s lots of grass to sniff throughout my complex, they just need to be leashed while outside!

It helps me better understand your pet when provided with their day to day energy level, favorite toys or games, food restrictions/requirements, favorite treats, if they are comfortable interacting with other animals on walks/at the dog park/if other pets are in the household at that time, and any allergies or special tasks needed to care for them. No amount of information is too much/unnecessary!
A typical day
It is important to me to meet both physical and mental needs for your pet. We’ll play their favorite games and try some new ones, practice tricks, go on walks or hikes, meet new friends (only if pre-approved to do so!), and more! Every animal is different and enjoys different things, but each visit will consist of doing anything needed to keep your pet happy!

Availability
I will be getting a new puppy on August 12, so any date after that I will be unavailable until further notice for boarding, house sitting, and doggy daycare! I try to update the calendar accordingly as best as I can, but I do have to go in to each individual day and update it. If there are mistakes/days aren’t yet up to date I apologize!
