Pet care experience
I love animals and taking care of them as if they are my own. I have had many cats and dogs in my life (and kittens I raised) and I have taken care of many of my friends pets. I have been doing housesitting for many many years, and love caring for animals and people. I love walking, hiking and being outside in general, and am very loving toward animals (I don't have children of my own so I care for animals as if they are my children 🤗). I am very detail oriented and am incredibly diligent in following directions from the pet owners and go above and beyond what's needed. I also tend to spoil the animals I watch (many hugs, walks, and play times :). In addition, I clean the home thoroughly before I leave (bedding and towels, floors, surfaces, appliances, pet food areas) and other special care for my clients, their pets and their home. I take great pride in providing exceptional quality care for your pets and home 💖.

Can't say enough about what a wonderful job Emily did taking care of our 2 sweet pooches for a week. From the first time I met her, she gave us the confidence that our pups were in good, capable hands. She kept us updated with sweet pictures and videos. The only reason I hesitate to give her a more glowing review is because, selfishly, I want Emily to be available the next time we go out of town. But that's silly! She's fabulous!
Emily was a phenomenal dog and house sitter. Our dog loves people and she gave him all the attention he needed while we were away. She also took excellent care of our house. Highly recommend!
Emily sat for me a second time in a pinch over a holiday and was a total life saver! Again, she delivered 5 star care to my pup, left my home very clean, was super responsive and overall just very pleasant to work with. Emily will be my go to sitter from now. I feel so lucky to have met her through Rover. My dog loves her too!
Emily is fantastic! She went above and beyond in my opinion- she offered several meet and greets ahead of time, cleaned, was very communicative and responsible. I would definitely and already have booked her again for a house sit. My pup seemed very happy with her! She is a sweet and caring person on top of it all. 5 stars!

The main information I would need for dog walking and sitting is how much activity your dog likes/needs and what areas they are most comfortable/safe in. Also how they are with other animals etc so I know best how to care for them.
A typical day
I will take your dog to a local park/recreation space to walk around the park and off leash (if safe) to play with toys and run around to get exercise in for their health and enjoyment. I would take them around to explore different areas of the park and to meet other dogs safely. There are many beautiful parks and walks in the area that I have been to. I normally provide at least 3 outdoor times a day if the pet enjoys this.

I am moving out of a non profit career after many years and starting my own healthy foods business which has an extremely flexible schedule, and I would love to put my passion and skills to work for people and animals! I can do anytime in the day as long as I have advance notice and can schedule.
