Pet care experience
We have 2 dogs of our own who require different needs physically and mentally and have a broad knowledge of the varying needs of different breeds. From daily walks and run-arounds in the yard, to mobility exercises for our senior, we can provide the care your pet needs to feel safe and well taken care of. I have dog-sat for many people over the past 10 years and always provide excellent care adapted to each dog's needs.

This was our first time leaving our Bernese mountain dog with a sitter and we felt very comfortable leaving her with Emily. She sent us lots of updates and photos and she also has well behaved dogs that kept our dog company. We definitely recommend Emily especially if you have a large breed dog.
My boy seemed to like the environment he was in with the two bigger dogs that Emily had. I would take my dog back next time.

I have a large fenced yard (1/4 acre) and 2 very friendly and happy dogs. As I work from home, your pets will receive unconditional love and attention to suit their needs. Our dogs are crate-trained, and can crate your dog if needed/requested. Our dogs have plenty of toys they love to share, and while they have the ability to free-roam, we do have a gate near our stairs to prevent them from raiding the bathroom or running to the door if someone knocks.

I would prefer medium to large breed dogs, though I can accommodate for smaller dogs as needed. Please let me know of any dietary allergies, physical restrictions, medications, and behaviours so I can account for the safety of all the dogs in our home.
A typical day
I love to take my dogs on all my adventures! Rest assured your dog will get daily pysical & mental stimulation, and weekend adventures in the wilderness. Our favourite place to go is the Chilliwack Community Forest.

Our dogs are groomed and exercised daily (our young dog receives daily 30+ mins of walking/running/toy retrieving, and our senior gets 5 mins of treadmill walking and 10 mins of neighbourhood sniffing), as well as weekend adventures. We are a very active household. I work from home, creating my own hours, and so the dogs are constantly given attention, mental stimulation through training and treat-finding, and have the opportunity to sunbathe in nice weather.
