Pet care experience
I'm that person at the party that's busy socializing with the pets rather than the people. While I don't have a pet of my own at the moment, I grew up with multiple pet dogs, cats and numerous generations of gerbils. Over the years I've had opportunities to pet sit for friends and family, however now that I work from home, this past year has been filled with a lot of wonderful cat-sitting for friends, including at home visits and boarding cats at my own place for a week or more at a time. While I'm a quiet person and cats seem to gravitate towards me, I love dogs too and I think they feel the same about me :). I know what it's like to be away from home and missing your furry friend(s), so I'm honored to be there to love on and care for your pets when you're not able to.

Amazing Sitter! We requested a house sitting service along with pet sitting. Emily spent all of her time at our house as we requested. She sent text updates everyday along with pictures. She loved on our pups and treated them as if they were her own. We are beyond grateful for her services and will be a recurring customer!
Emily is my grown daughter, and I can confirm that she has plenty of experience with pets, including at one time 2 cats and 4 dogs and an aquarium full of gerbils! Her experience includes caring for both young pups and kittens, as well as elderly dogs and cats. You can count on her dependability, and she will remain mindful of your pets and provide them the needed care and attention to make them happy!
Emily took great care of my cat. She had great communication, fed her has instructed and even sent me pictures of her playing. Would highly recommend.
When Emily comes over, my cats get excited for food even when I’m still home. I feel safe knowing my kitties are still spoiled when I’m out of town. Emily sends pictures and updates to make being away a bit easier. This added sense of ease and security improves any trip away. She’s greatly appreciated!

Please let me know ahead of time if your pet needs medication, has specific dietary restrictions, is high or low energy, bites, has separation anxiety, is friendly or reserved, etc. It's also important for me to know if your pet is up to date on vaccinations and flea medications.
A typical day
I'll make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise whether that means a long walk or a riveting game of laser pointer tag or if they're not into that we can chill on the couch. And of course, every pet will receive pets, cuddles, belly scratches and conversation.
