Hi, I'm Emily! I have had or been around animals for most of my life (including dogs, cats, horses, goats...), growing up with dogs and working on farms. I feel comfortable with any size, age, or temper, and just ask that you let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences. If your dog is active, I love walking, jogging, and hiking! To me, nothing beats going on an adventure with a dog. If your dog is older or calmer, I love to cuddle, and give great belly rubs. I have known Emily for years and couldn't think of anyone I would like to recommend more as a dog caregiver! She has had dogs her entire life, even going out of her way to rescue dogs in college and bring them into her loving home. She helps her dogs stay active through walks, runs, and play time. Emily has a keen sense for when dogs may need a more gentle approach, particularly when meeting my nervous rescue dog for the first time. Emily took her time to get to know him and by the end of the day, they were the best of friends! I wholeheartedly recommend Emily as a responsible, loving dog caregiver.
