Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Emily and I am 19. I have grown up with a terrier-spaniel cross breed since I was 7 and I have knowledge in puppy care and high senior care because of this! Comforting my dog in her last days of life has been an honour, and I wish to comfort any age of animal for however long I can because I know how deeply important it is for that pet to feel positivity, fun and love. Currently volunteering at the Cats Protection League in Exeter and ongoing puppy sitting. My puppy care consists of keeping them busy, playing, walking, letting them rest, feeding them and to keep them safely socialised. I am also comfortable with cleaning up messes! My senior care for dogs consist of handling the animal comfortably, playing when they aren't too tired to, feeding them, helping with medication feeding and giving them some patient walks or garden time. I also have general other pet care considering hamsters, guinie pigs, rabbits, chickens and others.

Emily stepped in with a few days notice to do a full home stay for us to look after our cat Chester and our puppy Wurzel. She looked after the house perfectly and kept us updated regularly regarding our fur babies. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough and we will definitely be rebooking her for all our trips from now on. Thank you Emily xx
Emily is a very responsible person and has shown a special connection with animals she has spent time with. She loves animals and they love her. She is always able to care for them in any way they need. She has cared for an elderly pet dog recently at her end of life showing kindness, patience and love whilst having to complete some difficult care responsibilities to ensure the dog had the correct level of care at such a difficult time. Emily has owned and cared for chickens and other animals in the past & is keen to ensure all animals are looked after with loving care, securely and carefully.
Emily has always been a hugely caring friend to her pets, ensuring they are fed, watered and exercised at all times. She also never shied from the mucky jobs that always come with caring for animals. She is responsible with cleaning up any messes and was instrumental in the end of life care of our late dog Mollie. I can comfortably recommend Emily to look after your pet :)

I am able to crate your dog if need be. Give them consistent walks, toilet breaks and play time whilst dog sitting. I would easily keep a close eye on pets to always check in on them especially if they have any health issues, but also in social interactions to keep them and others safe. I would also keep all dogs on a lead for walks unless told or agreed with otherwise.

Please let me know of any health conditions, special needs and dietary needs. Even if I do not administrate medication, I would like to know what the pet may be taking so I am alarmed of any side effects ect.
A typical day
Beach walks! Great for socialising with other dogs. Walks upon the Aylesbeare common, a great way to get them conected with nature. Walks around your location which will include some treats! Resting with them and playing when wanted.
