Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Emily :) I’m 26 years old and have 12+ years of experience working with animals. Here is just a little about my experience working with animals: - I volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society for 6+ years where I gained a lot of experience working with dogs and cats - I have been professionally trained on animal body language, walking/training techniques, and how to keep all pets safe and happy no matter what their age, personality, or size - I have 12+ years of previous pet-sitting experiences (2 of those on Rover) - I am now a dog mom myself to a rescue pup (pictured in my photos). Over these last 2 years he has taught me how to work with highly anxious dogs - particularly social anxiety. Recently unemployed so there is nothing in my schedule to block me from spending time with your animals. I’m excited to return to Rover. Walter stayed at Emily’s house for 10 days and had a great time with her and her room mates. He had adventures of his own while we were on vacation! Emily sent pictures and videos consistently and boy was he having fun. I’ll happily use her again.
Emily did a fabulous job of taking care of our pets overnight in our home. She provided us with updates and photos each day and left the house clean and orderly. Our pets were happy and relaxed when we returned home. She will be pet sitting for us again soon and I have complete confidence in her. I feel very fortunate that we found such a caring and conscientious pet sitter for our pets. We highly recommend Emily!

I am able to show up to your home for a drop-in visit or walk time at any time during the day. I can bring treats in my treat pouch if your dog’s allergies allow for that. Happy to spend extra play time if you have a pup with a lot of energy.

A typical day
I love to take dogs to the park! I am more comfortable keeping the dog leashed if there is no fence, but I’m happy to run with them if need be. If your dog is familiar with a specific dog park I am also willing to take them there.
