***I'm a teacher and have SUMMER off! If you need your dog to be extra loved throughout the day this summer, I am your gal!*** I'm Emily and am an Elementary Teacher. I have lived in Seattle for six years and am such an animal lover. I have two dogs: a Shih Tzu mix named Tuck and a Chinese Crested named Zinnie. In my free time I love to go on long walks, cook and explore different Seattle neighborhoods. Why I love hanging out with dogs and cats: Ever since I was a young girl, I have been a dog ad cat lover. I do not remember a family get together or vacation that didn't involve animals! I grew up in the mountains of Colorado where my dogs and I would explore the woods near my house while my cat patrolled the property. I LOVE playing with dogs and taking dogs on walks and even runs! The joy and relief that dogs feels after a long walk brings me SO much joy. I also love playing with kitties and refreshing their resources to make them feel comfortable while their family is away. My experience administering medication I am comfortable giving oral medication but not injections.

Information Emily C. would like to know about your pet
It is helpful to know how much exercise the dog needs throughout the day as well as his or her tendencies towards other dogs (i.e. is he/she prone to aggression? Does he/she enjoy playing with other dogs?). Also, I would like to know if the dog has tendencies to run away and what to do if that happens. I do not have any breed preferences! I seem to enjoy and get along with dogs of all breeds.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog I will spend a few hours a day with a dog (if not more!). It depends what day of the week I sit, some days are busier for me than others -- but I will give your pup as much attention as I can!

Availability
I am a teacher - summers, holidays and long weekends provide a lot of flexibility. During the school year, my weekdays are busy but evenings are flexible.
