I have a family dog and so has my partner Greg, but we do not have our own dog in glasgow, so we love meeting other people’s dogs! We have also cared for family and friends dogs and strangers’ dogs on ‘borrow my doggy’. I work from home and walk in kelvingrove park morning and lunch time so my weekly routine is well suited to a dog. At the weekends I also love getting out and about. I live in a flat and have access to a large communal garden that is paved and fenced off. I live across from Mansfield park and am walking distance from Kelvingrove and Victoria park. Both mine and my partners family dogs often stays in my flat so it’s dog friendly. I’m a lawyer and consider myself a trustworthy and friendly person! Both myself and my partner are very passionate about animals. Both myself and my partner have full time Mon-Fri jobs that have flexible schedules and allow us to work from home. We’re both completely free at the weekend and will make sure that there is always one of us with your dog! We live in a two bedroom modern flat that has a large living space. It is located on the first floor and can be reached via lift access should stairs be an issue. We are flexible in terms of where the dog sleeps and are happy to adapt to the unique circumstances of each puppy.

Emily and Greg took really great care of our dog! They’re very attentive and made sure she felt right at home in their place. Our dog has a lot of anxieties and they’re very understanding and took the time to know her quirks and how to make her feel most comfortable. They updated us regularly as well. Thanks so much!
From all the pictures we received it looked like Meg had a fantastic stay with Emily and Greg. Would have no hesitation to book them again in the future.

Your pet will typically have the run of the flat and can move about freely, unless otherwise requested. Our schedule is adaptable so if your puppy requires food or toilet breaks at specific times we are happy to help. We are comfortable providing any medication required and have plenty of experience of dogs with anxiety issues.

A typical day
We usually wake up around 7.00am, at which point the dog would be let out to the toilet and then fed. We’d then take the dog on a walk around Kelvingrove. The dog would be let out regularly throughout the day and be taken on a shorter walk at lunch time and another one or two walks in the evening depending on the needs of the dog. My partner usually goes to bed around midnight and will spend time with the dogs until then. We can adapt to the dog’s typical schedule however!

Availability
If the dog/s are dropped off at or before 8am we will aim to have them out for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening if they are collected after 6pm. We will take them out on a short lunchtime walk and will regularly take them out to pee during the day. If your dog is dropped off/ collected between 9am-5pm we will not necessarily be able to offer the same amount of walking as we would otherwise offer.
