More than dogsitting, it's a bond!
Pet care experience
*PLEASE NOTE* 1. Emily is PREGNANT! She is due early July. The last 2 weeks of June will not be available and we will be inactive until further notice. Thank you for understanding and being such an important and cherished part of our lives! 2. We live in an upper, so if stairs are difficult for your dog due to arthritis or other conditions, it might not be a good fit - we are still more than happy to try! We have owned a dog all our lives! We currently have two dogs ourselves: Curry and Shadow. Curry is a complete gentleman with all dogs, loves sleeping, and sets a mellow tone! Shadow is a happy lab mix, full of sunshine and enthusiasm for any living thing he meets (but don't worry - he's a great listener and is sensitive to the mood of any dog we host!). Emily volunteered at the human society, dog sat for large and small dogs alike, and has experienced all personalities. We treat dogs personally, as the individuals they are! Developing a personal understanding is our priority so that the dog feels comfortable and well-loved, even if mom or dad aren't there. The activities naturally follow! Our family favorites are long walks, visits to the dog park, and zoomies around the house. Our family can't wait to add your dog to our fluffy circle of friends!
Reviews
They took great care of our energetic boy! Sent daily messages and pictures which were great to see 😁 and very accommodating after our flight got delayed and we didn’t make it back in time to pick him up!
Brian and Emily gave our pup lots of love. They gave us great updates throughout his stay. We will definitely be using them again.
A wonderful experience with a VERY experienced couple. We got lots of updates and felt very comfortable that she was given lots of love and attention. Their dogs - Shadow and Curry- are the sweetest and allowed Nell to be part of their pack. Can’t wait to use them again!
Our dog had a great stay with Emily and Bryan. They were wonderful, sending lots of videos and pictures throughout the stay. We knew that our dog was getting exercise, playtime and lots of cuddles! We will definitely book with them in the future!!

We live in the upper unit of the duplex we own. Our home is dog-proofed - everything edible is either well out of reach or, in the case of our trash can, has a child lock. Our yard is not fenced in so we ensure our dogs are securely leashed before exiting. Dogs are encouraged to join us on the couches and overall treated like family – minus the access to human food, of course, much to their chagrin. ;)

Information Emily & Bryan U. would like to know about your pet
How much time a day does he or she need companionship? How is he or she with other dogs? What does he or she act like normally? On walks? What types of commands does he or she know? And the usual - routine, food information, etc.
A typical day
We’re all about a well-rounded time - get in some play, some bonding through walking or a brain game, and plenty of love! We also unashamedly talk to whatever dog we’re spending time with - it helps strengthen the bond!

Emily works a job where she’s never away from home for more than four hours at a time. Bryan regularly works remotely, too! We try to make it a daily routine to fit a walk into the morning or the evening. Our schedules are extremely conducive to pet care!
