A Dog Loving Family!
Pet care experience
My husband and I have had dogs all of our adult lives. We loved them so much that we also started fostering with a local rescue in 2011. Since that time, we’ve had the privilege of caring for dozens of needy pups - both in the fostering capacity as well as babysitting, when needed. After a recent boarding stay for one of our dogs, I felt that we could offer a more personalized babysitting experience while also being more affordable than the typical boarding facility. We are a dog savvy family and have had experience with all kinds - high maintenance, puppies, seniors, medical cases, etc. We also have the ability to separate if you need your pup to be without other dogs. We hope to be able to provide a loving home while you are away!

Was incredibly happy with how Emily and Brad treated our dogs and kept us updated throughout the weekend. This was our first time leaving our dogs with non-family or friends so we were nervous at first, but Emily and Brad did such a great job at understanding our dog's uniqueness and our dogs came home tired which is a great sign of lots of playing!!
Great job! Watched our dog for two weeks while we were on vacation, and our pup had a great time.

We have a fully fenced in yard with a smaller “dog yard” fenced in within it. The larger yard is used for playtime, when supervised. We believe in safe/slow introductions with any dog residents, but are also willing to completely separate visiting pups from the permanent residents if needed. We are a very dog friendly home and are set up to easily handle accidents, etc. We also understand that some dogs may need more time to acclimate and will need to be given more time and patience. We believe in meeting the pups where they’re at, and allowing them to acclimate and adjust on their own terms.

Ideally, I would like to know overall temperament and past behaviors/issues that are known. We are accepting of most common behavioral issues, however, we can only set up for success if they’re known about ahead of time! In addition, it may help the acclimating process if we know what they like/didn’t like and what other sitters may have experienced in the past.
A typical day
If it’s a weekday, the day begins with breakfast and playtime before work. After work, more playtime until bed! Evening walks if wanted/needed, group play, etc.

I currently work full-time during the day, Monday - Friday. I’d be happy to discuss any needs your pet may have during working hours and will try to accommodate. Our current pets are crated when unsupervised (working/not at home), so any visiting pups would likely do the same unless otherwise discussed.
