We have 2 Pomeranians and are very experienced with taking care of small, fragile dogs. We want to provide a sanctuary for your small dog. We know what it’s like to find a safe place for a small dog as we have explored boarding and other rover options and the risk for toy size dogs are too great. We will only accept one client at a time and would like a meet and greet before. We prefer dogs under 7 pounds.

Recommend for anyone looking for a safe place for their toy dog. The anxiety of having a toy dog is real, even a slightly larger dog can be too strong and what seems like safe play time is really harmful to my baby. People with large dogs simply do not understand. That is why I am so happy to have found Emily and her little family. Our dog, Scout, is about 5lbs and I felt completely safe leaving him with Emily and her tiny Pomeranians, Prince & Simba. Her house is super clean and set up with baby gates and tons of dog beds for my little guy to roam all over. Scout had a blast and ended up becoming inseparable with one of their Poms. Emily's older Pom has some special needs so she is very accommodating to every single request and existing issue you might be worried about, she was more than happy to accept my checklist and follow our feeding requests. Great experience 10/10.

Our Poms are 6lbs and we prefer dogs under 7lbs. Due to our experience with small dogs our house is set up with pet stairs, textured pads on tile and hardwood, multiple dog beds and kid free. One of our Poms is on a special diet and medication so we are used to accommodating all types of feeding/medication schedules. Our dogs each eat different food so we will closely monitor your pet’s meals.

As we mentioned in other areas, we started this account after feeling very uncertain about boarding and using other rovers for our 2 dogs, so we definitely get it.
A typical day
Our typically day will be very low key. In our experience toy & small dogs only need a little bit of exercise. For us that looks like a short flat walk around our neighborhood and depends on the weather. We know small dogs cannot be out in the heat for extended time periods. The other exercise your small dog can expect is indoor play with our 2 Poms.

Availability
100% work from home. We typically take our Pomeranians on one short walk per day. Potty breaks every couple hours. Harness on, no exceptions. Very flexible weekend schedule and will always be super attentive to your small dog’s needs.
