Pet care experience
Hi I’m Emily :) I currently work with shelter dogs and I’m studying to become a professional trainer. I’ve dog sat for 7 years and am comfortable around all pets. I love to focus on both physical and mental stimulation to ensure each dog gets a fulfilled and enriched walk every time.

Emily is the perfect person to look after your pets. Not only is she very knowledgeable with the needs of a variety of animals, but she works at an animal shelter where she is responsible for monitoring the needs of dogs, and providing them with enrichment activities individually catered to each dog. Aside from that, she works beyond her hours to ensure that all of the dogs in her charge are well taken care of. I think she is more than qualified for this job.

I don’t accept pets into my own home, as I have my own fur baby who is a bit socially awkward. However I’d be happy to drop by to pick up your baby and take them on a long walk or hike around new paltz!

A typical day
I love to plan activities for each dog individually for exactly what they need. I will ensure that your dog is enriched and both physically and mentally stimulated. I will take into account all behavior and health concerns.

I don’t work Wednesdays & Thursdays, so I’d be happy to devote those days to the non-shelter pets of the community! On the other days, I would be available after 6:30pm (Sun,Mon,Tue,Fri,Sat). :)
