Pet care experience
I grew up in a family that always rescued “unadoptable” dogs and rehabilitated them - I’ve been helping with dog care since I was about 8, Over the years, I have become the “go to” person for many friends and family to dogsit, catsit and even llamasit!! I have experience helping care for cats (like my own!), dogs, llamas, chickens, cows, and goats.

Emily is an absolute gem - she is reliable, helpful, and most importantly, a cat whisperer!! My cats LOVE her, and they are pretty choosy about their humans. We love having Emily take care of the boys, she's the best!!
Emily took great care of our cats while we were away--she sent pictures and videos of them, and kept us updated on how much they ate. I was originally anxious about leaving the cats for so long, but thanks to Emily, I could enjoy a few days away without worrying :)!
Emily was great with Siggy & Luna. She made sure to give each of them plenty of attention and love! She sent lots of pictures & videos and was very communicative!

I make sure I keep my cat in a consistent food schedule and play with her as often as possible, including a nightly pre-bedtime play sesh to make sure she sleeps like a rock. I do the same when petsitting, doing my best to provide routine and companionship.

Please let me know what your cats personality is and their preferences for toys and socializing. I will always respect your cats boundaries and it is important for me to know what those are. If your cat does not like to be pet in a specific spot or picked up, please let me know.
A typical day
Since I primarily focus on cat care, it all depends on the cat. I am happy to give shy cats their space and allow them to come to me (maybe after offering some treats as an incentive). I love to play with and snuggle more active and social cats!! I will always respect your pets boundaries if they do not want to socialize or be pet.

Availability
I work in Cambridge every Monday and work remote until 5pm Tuesday-Friday and so during those days, am only available for evening or flexible time drop ins. Weekend availability varies but typically I am available!
