Pet care experience
Having had dogs since I was a small child, I am so thankful that I realized early on that there was a very special bond between our beloved four-legged friends and ourselves. I'm a life-long experienced and responsible dog owner, with professional experience in kennels and doggy daycare facilities before deciding it was time to go independent. I have a particular liking for special needs (behavioral and medical) and senior animals, as they are too often the sweetest of souls. I'm happy and fulfilled making a positive and direct difference in animals' and their human's lives. I have always believed in the power of "positive/reward" based training, in recent years I have attentively grown more familiar and confident in "balanced" based training, in either perspective I firmly believe it is most important to always keep your calm wits about you with all dogs including our own. I am very comfortable and competent in keeping control of dogs of all sizes, and always being conscious of maintaining safety for everyone including the animal. I do my best to always remember that a dog is an animal, and it is up to us humans to be responsible and ready, and to of course make sure they are spoiled with love every day! In the times that I am not looking after all of my favorite Rover fur-friends, I am almost always with family looking out for them. Some would say that I have my hands full and though that can be true, my days are filled with the joy and love and care that is shared with them all! My core principle in my work is always "safety first" and being proactive more than reactive as much as possible in all regards. This mindset extends into my care of a client's home, as I truly care for their space just as I would my own. Safe, clean, reliable, and truly loving care is what I am proud to provide full-time since 2019. Moving into 2022, I am happy to say I am able to take select new clients onto my schedule for all services. I am so blessed that my roster often will fill up fast, so reach out today to secure your pup's place!

I cannot thank Emily enough for coming to the rescue after we had to let our previous sitter go mid-stay at our home because of that sitter's inappropriate care with our animals and home. Emily quickly came in and helped get things back to normal again. She is a great communicator, keeps the house very clean, and clearly enjoys taking care of your home and pets while you're gone. I wish Emily could sit for us every time. I would not hesitate to recommend Emily's services.
Emily did a great job my my babies! We have 4 large and rambunctious dogs which can be daunting to some but she had no trouble taking them on. It was clear they will well cared for.

Emily saved Christmas! I had a sitter back out last minute and Emily was able to take all the stress off of my shoulders and ensured that my Zoey was safe and had fun while I was gone. I will absolutely be utilizing her services again in the future.
