I'm a student in the area, an all around animal lover and wanting to get out for some more activity. Happy to either board or just care for others dogs. I don't have a cat here, however I have Jenny (in my photo) who loves to visit - so cat-friendly dogs would be great, but not essential as Jenny visits as and when she pleases. I have a nearly-2 year old lab at my parents home named Pepper. I miss her so much and the joy that a dog brings, so I'd love to see your dog to fill that void. Socialising Pepper has been a real experience and made me very aware of dogs needs socially, so my general rule would be only on-lead walking even if we were in a field or enclosed space, just as you never know how another dog would react, and it's the safest option. I'm an absolute lover of big dogs, but I'm not very big myself, so any big dog in my care would need to be a bit of a gentle giant.
