Pet care experience
I have experience taking care of all kinds of animals! I have one indoor/outdoor cat, so I can handle cats if you need them. For three years of undergrad, I consistently housesat (up to two-week stays) for two pitbull/lab mixes and an ooooooold cocker spaniel, as well as odd jobs taking care of every other kind of dog in between. In grad school, I consistently worked with the same 2-3 families and their pits or lab mixes. When I'm housesitting, I make sure everybody is fed and happy, and gets lots of outside time. I like to take the dogs on as long of a walk as they'll let me. I will always send the walk's results to you, as well as updates on how they are doing, and (obviously) a ton of cute pics of your furry friends! *I am absolutely guilty of posting snuggle pics to social media accounts - I will only ever do this with your permission!

Emily was absolutely amazing!!! We had her housesit with Dixie while we were gone for a week for our wedding, and she was a rockstar. Dixie has some behavioral issues, especially around other dogs, but Emily did a wonderful job with her. We had a lot of specific things to work on with her, and Emily had no problem handling everything. We will absolutely be booking with Emily in the future, she was great to work with!
I have a pit-mix and a full-pit, and Emily is without a doubt the person I trust the most with my dogs outside of certain family members. Aside from being great at keeping the dogs in step on walks so I don't return and they are out of walk-training, she sends me updates throughout the day/weeks I'm gone when I'm missing them. Cannot speak highly enough of how Emily will take care of your dogs, just be aware that they may become famous when she posts pictures of them on her social media ;-)

I’d prefer to meet dogs in person first! In general, I need to know how often they’re fed and how much, whether they need medications, and most importantly—what the treat policy is!
A typical day
I like to take long walks around the neighborhood, and tire them out enough to curl up on the couch and binge watch whatever the next big thing is. Will absolutely take them to the park if you want me to!

I work 8:30 - 5:00 downtown, but I am available early mornings, evenings, and overnight! On the weekends I will hang out with your pets for as long as they want :)
