Hi, I’m Em and I own Emba Dog Walking and Pet Care. I set up my business in Febuary 2023 after years of dreaming. I have been looking after pets most of my life, as I grew up with my grandparents breeding boxer dogs, which I helped care for. At college I studied animal care, specialising in dog care. Over the years I have worked in dog training, dog boarding, and doggy daycare, as well as in animal rescue and a cattery. I am comfortable with all dogs and am experienced with all sizes of from large breeds like German Shepherds and Huskies to small breeds like Jack Russels and Cockapoos, I'm also confident with any age range.

Emily looked after my cat for a few nights at my home, she sent me regular pics as to how they were both getting along and also left my home clean and tidy. I would definitely ask her to look after him again.

Em has been nothing short of fantastic with Leia. I honestly wouldn’t trust anybody else with her now and will be continuing on with em for dog walking when maternity leave ends. We’ve never left Leia and she gave us regular updates; Made us feel relaxed and at ease and treat our home, us and leia with nothing but respect and care. Leia is a collie and traffic herds as well as has an incredibly strong prey drive so is not the most easy to walk but em had no issues not with her boisterous personality either and played with her loads. She was so happy and we honestly think her prices are too cheap for the care and effort she puts into the care of your loved furry friend. Thanks again em you’ve been a diamond?
Absolutely faultlesss. Em came and met Obie and made a huge fuss of him. He took to her immediately (and I always trust my dog’s instincts about people). Em kept me informed about Obies walk and took some gorgeous photos. He came back absolutely shattered and thoroughly happy. I will not hesitate to use her services again.

I am experienced with walking strong, aggressive and reactive dogs and have both the physical strength and the knowledge to keep them safe on walks. I am happy to walk dogs both on and off lead depending on what you prefer. I only do individual walks, as I believe each dog deserves my full care an attention, although this can include up to 3 days from the same family.

A typical day
I love going on walks with your dog, I especially love Wickerly Woods, and Chesterfield Canal. I also like to play with your dog, whether your pup wants to play fetch, wrestle, or play chase.

Availability
I am a young mum who had to stop work in 2021 due to my husband sustaining a spinal cord injury. Now that my daughter is in nursery and my husband is more independent, I have plenty of free time to do what I love, hence why I set up Emba Dog Walking and Pet Care. I have always loved animals and dreamed of being a dog walker one day.
