Pet care experience
My family has had pets ever since I can remember. I've cared for fish, hermit crabs, hamsters, guinea pigs, and the ones that stand out the most would be dogs. When I visit fellow humans, I'm usually drawn to their animals; whether that be their dogs, farm animals, or cats (which I'm very allergic to). I enjoy walking dogs, brushing animals when they allow me, and of course snuggling. I can be gentle and be firm with direction when needed. My family currently has 1 dog that I primarily care for.

This was our pups first time staying with someone for the day so our family could enjoy SDC and Emily was great! Very friendly and reassuring at drop off and helped make him more comfortable. She sent pictures of their play time and outside time. Would definitely trust her with our pup in the future!
What an amazing pet sitter! Our dog, Rooster, got to spend a Friday with Emily and her family and then the following Monday got to spend another day. When we turned onto her street on Monday to drop him off, he got so excited! I would absolutely leave any pet with her! She loved and cared for him like he was her own!
Frankie must have had a good busy day he was so tired when we got home he seems to be real happy I hope to use Emily again this summer for our family outings She was Amazing even sent me a picture of Frankie laying next to her daughter so cute
I completely trust Emily with Clementine. My dog is safe and happy and well cared for there (although she is also very happy to go home again).

A typical day
The day starts by letting the dog(s) outside so they can do their business. All guest dogs will be leashed when they go outside. Then, it's time to eat! Plenty of time to play. If weather and time allows, I like to walk dogs in my little neighborhood. Lots of opportunity to rest and nap :) then time to eat again, if needed. Evenings are usually calm around here. Potty breaks throughout the day. Bed time 10:30. Whether your going out of town, staying at an accommodation that doesn't allow pets, or don't want your dog alone at your nightly rental all day, I'm here for you! Just minutes from SDC!

Availability
I currently stay home and do day-to-day activities with a toddler, so my schedule is flexible. I like a calm morning but ready for what the day has to offer no later than 11am. I can set time aside for your pet's needs any day of the week.
