Pet care experience
I have always had a passion for animals, especially dogs and cats. Growing up, we always had a dog ranging from a 110 pound golden to now my 70 pound golden doodle. Outside my own house, I watch my siblings pets (puppies and cats!). In my neighborhood, I have cared for multiple dogs at once; at this home, one of the dogs is visually impaired in both eyes. She received eye drops 3x a day, so I am skilled in giving medication to dogs that need it. I love all breeds and am committed to giving the best care possible! I’m preparing for the upcoming school year! I am a teacher, so I am available after 12:30 pm to take care of your furry friends or all day on the weekends! I will always take the proper measures to ensure your pet is safe (food away from the edge of counters, doors and fences closed before letting animal out, and giving enough love and attention while there). I absolutely love giving attention to pets that are missing their people!

Emily is fantastic! On time every time, kept us posted - and our little buddy loved her. We will absolutely be asking us to sit for us again.
She did an excellent job caring for my 70 pound pup! Offers staying in the house or drop in visits and she was amazing. Made sure my dog had enough exercise and enrichment each day for her energetic breed. She also will send frequent updates and pictures of your pup!

When taking care of your pet, I will always ensure they have enough food and/or water before leaving the house (especially after walks!). Additionally, I like to check in with clients when arriving to the home to ensure there is nothing more I could do to meet the pet’s needs. I always take pictures to update you on our adventures and visits! Before letting dogs into the backyard, I will ensure all gates are properly secured and sit outside with the dog to prevent them from being alone outside.

A typical day
It’s important to stimulate a dog both mentally and physically! Playing games allows the dog to keep an active mind while also getting out some excess energy. A tired dog doesn’t just have to be physically tired!

I work a job where I have off in the Summer! Therefore, I’m available after 12:30 pm to drop in to see your pets or take them on a nice walk!
