Pet care experience
I have been working with dogs for 6 years in a variety of doggy daycares, vet clinics, and grooming salons. I have worked with all kinds of dogs with medical needs, dietary restrictions, and even behavioral problems. I am certified in Pet CPR & First Aid, and have been dog sitting for several years before joining Rover. I’m looking forward to loving on more pups!

Emily is an amazing human. So helpful and kind and she truly loved our boys. Very versed and experienced with working with animals especially dogs. She gave the boys baths and lots of love . I felt very releived to have her watching the dogs for us. We were away a long time both the dogs and the house were in better shape than when we left. She is a fantastic dog and house sitter and I would certainly recommend her to take care of your fur babys.
Emily is amazing with all animals and has the passion to care for them. She has no mean bones in her body and she listens well to instructions. She knows what she is doing!

I know how to communicate with vets and have been certified in Pet CPR & First Aid for 4 years. Depending on the service I am providing, I like to talk with each pet parent to find out what the needs are for the pet I am watching.

I need to know of any medical issues, medications, and the vet you use. I prefer to have an emergency contact listed in case of emergencies. If your dog has any special needs whether it’s physical or behavioral it is helpful for me to know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly.
A typical day
I like to take the dogs for walks to them to be able to sniff and engage their brains! I love using lick mats, puzzle feeders, and kong toys to encourage mental stimulation as well. Couch cuddles are an all time favorite of mine, but I have some hiking spots that I like too! It really just depends on the dog:)

I am a college student right now so my schedule changes from day to day, but I have never had any problems with dedicating the appropriate time to caring for the pets I have watched previously.
