About me: I have experience working with all size breeds of dogs, and love my current job working at a doggie daycare in Seattle! I have received special training in canine behavior as well as my Red Cross Dog and Cat CPR certification. In addition to my graduate studies, I've worked on farms for the past several years, and worked with farm animals like cows, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys. As a child I always had some kind of pet, be they dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, birds, mice, and more. Message me if you have any of these pets, happy to care for them as well and can modify my rates too! I also have cared for friends' bunnies. I have a lot of experience administering medications to senior and other-age pets. I have extensive personal experience caring for senior animals with myriad chronic illnesses that have required administering medications like insulin, subcutaneous fluids, and liquid oral medications. I am also familiar with animal grooming and able to perform certain grooming requirements for dogs and cats. I can be flexible with distances traveled, pls message me for details. Dog walking: I want my walks with your fur baby to be as fun and safe as possible. I'll always ask you what your preferences are and what previous training your pup has had to maintain your hard work. I provide runs at an extra cost! Housesitting: While staying in your home, I am organized, clean, respectful and detail-oriented, ready to follow your feeding and exercise instructions to a T. If you're alright with it, I love to get your pup out for hikes and walks with plenty of pupdates on the weekends :) It is preferable for me to sleep in a guest room. If not, your home must be carefully cleaned before my arrival in order for me to feel comfortable sitting. If your pet is not house trained, I charge extra. I consider housesitting a premium service, where your pet gets to stay in their home environment and be cared for on a one-to-one basis with lots of extra affection and playtime. My price reflects this as compared to a boarding experience where your dog is in a unfamiliar environment with many unknown other dogs with little human interaction. 2 walks/day are also included and runs at an extra cost. I'm also an avid gardener and am happy to take care of your plants while you're away as well! If your pet requires my 24-hour presence in the home, I cannot provide this service at this time.
