Pet care experience
I grew up with German Shepherds and pugs, and have over 20 years of experience with all breeds, from tiny to huge! I learned the importance of basic training very early, as we always had large dogs for family security. I try to only take one dog at a time (unless they are siblings of course!) so they have my undivided attention and are treated like a member of my family. The maximum I’ll take is two. My Bernese Mountain Dog, Gertie, is almost 8, and is a great help with other dogs. She knows many commands, can walk off-leash, and is friendly and respectful of other dogs.

Our pup Azalea had the best time with Emily! We don't leave her often and it is stressful to try to find someone you can trust to take care of your fur baby like their own. Emily made Azalea feel right at home and she had a wonderful few days hanging out with her and her dog Gertie! We appreciated getting photo updates about how Azalea was doing and loved that Azalea had access to a fenced-in backyard. We can't recommend Emily enough!!
My dog had so much fun with Emily! I am really happy to find someone I trust, and can tell right away the great care and attention that she provides. Also it was very easy to communicate, go over the details I wanted to discuss and everything!

Oh my gosh Emily is the best!! She is so sweet! This is my first time ever using any kind of home day care service and I just happened to get the best!! A typical day
We usually start the day with some outside time and tug or fetch. Around midday I take whoever is here for either a solo or paired walk (depending on the dog’s personality and needs). After coming home and winding down, we may go to the beach for sunset or play in the yard some more before bed!

Availability
I currently work from home, so I am home most days. I have a large, fenced yard with two walkways that are also both fenced, and live next door to a big, dog-friendly park. Boarding is my most popular service, and I enjoy really getting to know your pup.
