Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Emily, and I have been a dog lover my entire life. Ever since I was little I have been surrounded by dogs, and growing up with my labradoodle, Chewy, was one of the best experiences of my life. Taking care of my sweet boy taught me so many valuable skills like patience, responsibility, and forgiveness...I learned that last one when he tore up my favorite sneakers. Now I have a pup of my own, Koda, that I adore to no end. My love for pets has made me dedicate my summers home from college to walking and watching dogs for people and it has absolutely been the most fun, rewarding job. I’m out of college now and am still living the dream of being a caretaker for pets in my free time. I am great with all dogs, no matter the shape or size. I look forward to meeting your furry friend!

Emily is fantastic! She used to walk my dog after work every day before she moved away. My husband and I loved working with her because she is reliable, friendly, and our dog Bruno loved her. We will miss having her work for us.
I highly recommend Emily on Rover. She was extremely professional, caring and responsive. She house sat for us and loved our 2 dogs as if they were her own. She even went above and beyond to clean the house before she left, which was unexpected and much appreciated. Thank you Emily for your help!
Emily was so attentive and responsive to our pups. They instantly loved her and she was so patient with them. She sent us daily updates and went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable while we were away. We can’t wait to use her again for our babes!
Emily did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs! She agreed to watch them last minute as our other booking cancelled last minute and really helped us out over the holidays. She was very dependable and responsible and provided updates regularly about our dogs. Our house and dogs were in perfect condition upon our return. I can take care of your pets however you request of me when we are in your home. I’m able to crate them if need be when I leave and will always make sure fresh water is available. I can also feed your pup and will make sure their paws are clean when we come back from walks.

I can work with dogs of all ages and sizes, from a Dachshund puppy to a senior Great Dane! I can administer oral medication, even for stubborn pets (cheese works great LOL). I would like to know ahead of time if your dog is reactive, as that will prepare me for taking them on a walk.
A typical day
My favorite thing to do with dogs is take long walks. Sometimes my pup Koda loves “sniffy walks” where I give him all the time in the world to stop and smell for as long as he would like, but other times he wants to go for a jog! I enjoy playing with dogs and training them too, so please just communicate your wishes and your pet’s preferences with me.

I have availability to take care of your pets during the work day and can provide brief walks and play time. I have more availability after work hours to stay for longer period of time.
