Hi! I am a lifelong animal lover who is looking to help you out! I have experience with dogs throughout my whole life and have been a dog owner for the past seven years. I have walked dogs of varying ages, breeds and abilities as well as dog sat and boarded them in my own home. My own dog, Ellie, who is very social, friendly, and happy loves to meet new friends and would be great to give your dog socialization (also good because your dog would never be alone during the day!) I have a medium sized yard that dogs can play in and a large park behind my house. I am walking distance from a dog park and a short driving distance from another larger dog park (would be willing to drive your dog to the park). I work a teaching/social work job with flexible hours so your dogs needs can be met with ease and they won't be alone for long. A typical day for my dog is to go out first thing in the morning for a bathroom break, eat breakfast while I get ready for the day, and go for a walk before I head to work around 9. I stop back in around 10:30-10:45 to check in/let out again, and then am home again around 3pm for our evening walk and play time. I should mention that I do have two cats that live in the house as well - both are accustomed to multiple dogs and don't have issues with them. I have two roommates who are also dog lovers and while they would not be providing care for the dogs, they would be more than happy to give love and snuggles to anyone staying here. I see pets as members of the family and your pet would be treated no different!
