Pet care experience
For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to have a career revolving around animals. Dogs and I especially have always had a special connection. I have always been that person hanging out with the dogs at family get togethers and was often asked to dog sit because of my natural connection.I finally adopted my very own puppy from the Humane Society in 2014! I knew as soon as we met, that we would be best friends! Moro has been such a blessing in my life after leaving the military. After realizing how therapeutic spending time with Moro was for me, I decided it was finally time I began my journey towards working with animals. I started working at Our Best Friend, a Doggy Daycare in Gig Harbor, Washington where I was able to get a good glimpse of what it would be like to groom dogs. Wanting to expand my knowledge even further I soon became a bather and then quickly went on to grooming academy at Petsmart. I worked with them for nearly two years and learned a lot during my time there. I am now currently seeking a more part- time approach to animal care so I can dedicate time to volunteering at the North Georgia Zoo and continuing my education.

Emily was great! We have three big dogs, from a 90 pound puppy to a 65 pound, 15 year old and one more in between, all with unique needs and personalities, so they are a lot of work. She took good care of them, kept in touch with us throughout her stay, sent photos, and our house was in great condition when we got home. We are absolutely planning to use Emily again in February! Thanks Emily!!
Emily was fabulous and took excellent care of my foster pup at the last minute over the holidays! She sent updates during each visit and gave her lots of love and attention during her visits. I would highly recommend Emily & plan to use her for my pet sitting needs again in the future!
Emily is the kindest and most caring person I know! Her passion and patience with animals really shows in her interactions with any creature. She’s attentive and understand of their needs, and if there is something she doesn’t know, she’ll find the answer and handle the situation gracefully regardless. She treats animals as equals, not as pets, and treats all with respect. Emily is one of the few people i would trust completely to take care of my furry children. She has a solid knowledge of different breeds, and is able to adjust to their needs accordingly. Professional, polite, and caring. Everything you and your pup(s) need!
Recently I purchased my first home with my significant other, we both work long and often hectic hours- leaving our new puppy Dobby and both of our cats home alone for hours OR potentially alone with any workers that have been remodeling our new home. Being a friend of mine that I love and trust, I of course asked if she would be interested in watching my puppy and my cats when she was available. I really wanted to ensure our animals would be with someone who would carefully watch them and our puppy and give him the attention he needed on days I knew I would be gone a while. She has stayed at my house alone several times and even overnight if needed, and she has even relayed messages to me from workers remodeling my home- which of course was not required of her. Emily is someone who will go above and beyond for your pets, and treats all of them like they are her own. All of our animals show a love and deep trust for Emily, even our rescue cat waffles, who is extremely skiddish, and requires a high level of care and attention.

Nature walks, playing outside with a ball or favorite toy, and plenty of belly rubs are in store for your pup whenever I'm around. I also dabble in photography so I'll be able to capture your furry baby in action! I am also an experienced groomer and can provide minimal grooming services for your pup if needed.
