Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and dogs and learned the responsibilities of taking care of them at a young age. I've been feeding our cats and dogs, walking the dogs, and scooping the litter box since I was a kid. Those pets are all much older now, so I have very recent experience with senior pet care as well. I have had a huge heart for pets for my whole life, and I would love to spend time with yours!

Emily was great with my two cats. She gave me input on each visits. She was really patient with two cats who are both timid and afraid of new people and who have contrasting eating styles which make them difficult to feed. When I got back, the one that tries to steal food was not to fat, and the one that gets her food stolen was not too skinny. Both seemed relaxed and happy. I would definitely have her sit for them again and recommend her to others.

Emily took great care of my cats. She made sure that my very stubborn senior cat got his pill when he needed it. Would definitely use her again!

I have experience with putting dogs in crates and feel comfortable driving them if that is requested. It is unlikely that I will be able to provide pet care in my own home at this time.

I would love to know if there are any special needs for the dog or any preferences they have. It can be tricky to know what a dog is used to without context, so I like knowing what routines a dog may be accustomed to. Overall, I just want to know how to love them best.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs, especially playing fetch with balls or sticks. I also really love walks and grew up taking my own dogs on short hikes through the woods. I'm a big fan of nature trails and would be excited to find a local trail to take a dog.

Since it is summer, I have a very open schedule. With the exception of certain days, I am available to check in on your pets every day until August 21st. From there, I will need to figure out how much I can fit into my schedule.
