I currently volunteer at Zoeys Rescue doing puppy socializing in my free time, I have helped them with over 7 litters now from first interactions until they are ready to go to foster homes. I have learned a lot about caring for puppies, as well as new moms and its really rewarding to be a part of their organization. I have had 3 other fur babies in my life, my dog Eddie, my cat Mercy and another dog Iggy. I loved them with all my heart while I had them. I understand every pet can have a different personality and its always my goal to tend to their needs as individuals. Whatever it takes to keep them happy and healthy I am ready to create the space for them to learn and thrive. I am also happy to care for cats, fish, amphibians or any pet you call a friend. Any instructions you have for me I will follow to the letter and send lots of updates with great pictures of your best friends. Emily has been an awesome sitter for our dog Epi and cat Pepper. Epi is incredibly timid and fearful which sometimes comes across as scary. Emily has practiced a lot of patience to get to know Epi better and continued to persevere. Emily went above and beyond to find the best strategies to bond with Epi. Emily and Epi are now able to go for long walks and plays together and we are so thankful to have her looking after our fur children. Thank you Emily!
Emily did an amazing job of walking and entertaining our dog when we were away. She was always on time, let us know when she was on her way and sent us updates, photos and videos of our pooch! Apparently he would wait for her by the door each day and mope when she left. I would absolutely recommend Emily as a kind and wonderful dog walker!
Emily handled our reactive dog well. She has a relaxed demeanour and was great about finding the right way to engage with the dog.

I have experience training dogs and cats with positive affirmation, rewards and consistency. I prefer taking dogs to parks or open spaces for long walks and lots of play time. When I care for a pet, they get my entire focus and attention whether it be all day or just a few hours. Any free time will be spent petting them, calling them cute names, and playing with them until they get tired of me. I also try to get the best pictures possible

A typical day
Walks/running, playing catch, learn new tricks, all the tummy rubs, explore all the dog parks possible, take a dip in a body of water or visiting a spray park if its nice, visit pet freindly areas, grooming. The goal is to tire them out so any toys you have available will be used excessively
