I absolutely love all types of animals. I have been raised around dogs, cats, horses, and reptiles. I’ve personally cared for multiple dogs and horses at once. For care, I am reliable and honest, working to provide high quality care. As a pet owner, I understand the importance of communication and trust. I am also flexible with times and requests to meet you and your animal’s needs. I bring the fun to any home. Realllly appreciate Emily! I did some last minute traveling and because it was spring break I couldn’t take my puppy to PetSuites! I searched high and low for someone to help with him and Emily was the only person who could squeeze him in! Book with her—you won’t be disappointed! She has great communication as well!
Emily did a wonderful job watching our Dakota for a long weekend in our home! She sent frequent updates and pictures, and Dakota enjoyed many walks and cuddle time with Emily. Highly recommend!

Please let me know in advance if your pet has any particular needs or medications, as well as any other extraordinary behaviors. I have limited experience with special needs dogs or dogs with specific medical needs. Do let me know in advance if the dog is friendly with other animals or people as well. This will allow me to know what to anticipate on walks in public spaces and trails. But, most importantly, let me know what your dog loves! I would love to bring their favorite treats or maybe a new toy!
A typical day
I love to go on walks at parks and nature trails if your puppy enjoys those! I particularly love Maybury State Park but also will make use of any local parks near your residence. I will also play fetch, tug-of-war, and any other dog-friendly game.

Availability
I currently work remotely, but will be starting a full time day camp counselor position in June. I can currently do regular drop-ins and housesitting. In June, I will only be able to housesit, as well as drop ins scheduled before 8 am or after 5 pm. I am available on weekends for house sitting and drop ins as well.
