Hello! I am a professional dog walker & am available to board your dog in my home alongside my 2.5-year-old hound mix (neutered male). I am trained on leash handling skills and am pet CPR/first aid certified via the American Red Cross Online. Pups left in my care will receive the physical & mental exercise, guidance and affection that they need & deserve so that you come home to a tired, happy dog.

Emily is an incredible caretaker for dogs! She goes out of her way to get to know the dogs she looks after and spends a great deal of time and energy learning how to be even better with dogs! She is incredibly loving and is sure that each dog is cared for based on his or her unique personality. I would leave my dog with her for weeks if needed and he is VERY difficult - pulling, barking, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend Emily!! She's THE BEST!
Emily took care of our 9 month old pup for a week and we couldn’t have asked for a more loving and safe home for Polly. Emily not only cared for polly morning and night but she also trained her! When polly came home she was so much better on a leash and could fetch! I would highly recommend Emily to walk, train, board and love your dog!!!! We were so grateful!

I live across the street from a field/playground and less than a mile from a lovely, large city park. Guests will be kept on leash when we leave the house, and will share parts of the home with my dog who is friendly and calm (they'll sleep in their crates in separate rooms).

Before boarding, I'll ask you about your dog's diet/meds/allergies, leash walking/basic obedience, crate training, triggers/"unusual" behaviors, reaction to new dogs/people, and anything else you want to share with me.
A typical day
I especially love Neponset Trail, the cemetery, and Turner Pond for local doses of nature that are accessible for most dogs. Morning walks are my personal favorite, starting the day right, exercising with the pack.

I will be out of the house for ~4 hours midday during the week, so our routine is generally: longer walks before breakfast & dinner, and shorter walk/potty break right before work & immediately when getting home, Both my dog and any guests will be crated for a few hours while I am away at work midday and during the night. I am home full-time on the weekends and like to take them to a new park, neighborhood, or trail for exploration!
