Hi my name is Emily and I love dogs of all ages and sizes! My dog loves to play with others but is respectful of space if your dog isn’t about it. I foster dogs when I can so the house is all set up for making sure any new dogs in the house are comfortable, can eat their food in peace, and have a comfy place to sleep at night (if they don’t want to cuddle in bed 🥰). I’d love the opportunity to spoil your dog with cuddles and play time while you are away! I love the outdoors so we spend lots of time out in the yard or out on walks/hikes too. I’m a super easy-going and flexible person so let me know what’s good and not good and I’ll be sure to follow through. I am a positive only trainer and if there is anything you are working on that you would like me to keep up while you are gone, just let me know! I hope I can help your doggo have a good experience while you are away and I’ll share pictures from our time together with you. :) Feel free to reach out!

Emily was fantastic! I did a meet and greet before my dog’s stay and felt extremely comfortable with leaving my dog in Emily’s hands. Her dog is such a sweetheart and played very well with my dog. She sent me daily updates and my dog was sufficiently tired by the time I picked her up. I will definitely be using Emily in the future!
It’s a rare thing when my shy dog rushes to greet someone other than me with his tail wagging! She took care of him while I went into labor and was beyond flexible with drop off/pick up scheduling. Safe to say we love Emily!

I have a fenced in yard and the house is set up to separate dogs if needed. What I provide: bowls / slow feeders, treats, brushes, toys, beds/blankets, and crates. What you need to provide: food, collar, leash, medications, and a comfort item (blankie, shirt, stuffy, etc) if your dog is not used to being away from home.

If there’s any history of aggression or resource guarding please let me know ahead of time! I am equipped to manage guarding but I need to know so I can set everyone up for success. What are your typical sleeping arrangements and home alone arrangements? Do they stay in a crate, a room, or free in the house? If there’s any anxiety or history of abuse/triggers, please let me know that as well!
A typical day
A typical routine in this house starts with morning potty, then in for breakfast, outside for playtime, inside for break/rest time, potty break, dinner, back outside for play time, then couch cuddles and movies to round out the night! Potty breaks and play duration are determined by what the dogs want! I do keep up on grooming while dogs are in my care (brushing & pup wipes, washing paws, etc) but they will get dirty playing in the yard! If you would like a full bath before bringing your pupper home I do offer full baths for $20 and provide hypoallergenic shampoo.

I work from home 90% of the time so your dog won’t have to spend much time alone. If I do have to leave it’s only for an hour or two for a meeting.
