Pet care experience
I had dogs growing up. But about 14 years ago, I got a Yorkie 🐶 and then, just a few months later, I rescued 2 terrier puppy brothers 🐶🐶. I loved them as I would a child and they all had a wonderful life, full of love. Unfortunately, they have all crossed over the rainbow bridge. Looking to board or sit dogs to give me that joy I’m missing, at least until I’m ready for another dog (or two) of my own.

I have known Emily for most of my life. I know her well enough to know she loves dogs. She had three dogs for 14 years until they passed, and she was the best dog mom any puppy could have. She has even driven my dog from Nebraska to Colorado. You can trust her with your dog. I do, 100%.
Compassion, guidance and love are needed by all our furry animals friends who are our family! Emily exhibits all of these admirable qualities as an owner and parent of three dogs in the last 13 years! All of her pets have passed on over the rainbow bridge with the last one in September! I have a fenced in yard for safety purposes and I go outside with my dogs to increase the safety level even more. I’m a very responsible person and mindful of a need to adhere to a dogs’s eating, exercise or medication schedules. I also provide lots of snuggles and belly rubs to ensure your dog has a relaxing experience and feels right at home.

A typical day
I have a rather large back yard so dogs are typically pretty occupied with sniffing around at first. We can go for walks around my neighborhood or go to the trail in the park. Whatever the client prefers. We can even just lounge around the house and go out for potty breaks as needed.

Availability
I work M-F in an office just a few blocks from home. If boarding is needed in my home I’ll be available to provide potty breaks or walks during the day, and I’m home in the evenings. Weekend boarders will get my full attention.
