Caring and tidy
Pet care experience
I had my own dog for 15 years. I recently lost him. I had trained him myself. He knew basic commands and could walk off leash. When he lost his hearing two years ago, I adjusted how to communicate with him and we found what worked. I took care of him since I was 13. I fostered another dog on and off for a little over two years before he found the perfect fit. I took him in because I worked at a rescue and kennel. No one would look at him cause he was very rambunctious and also anxious. Im able to handle dogs when they have anxiety problems. I worked at the rescue for about three years. I’ve taken care of plenty of dogs from many different backgrounds. I can do basic medical treatment, if there was an emergency I have experience handling different situations. Giving any medication is no problem. I’m very well versed feeding a dog with a special diet. From my time at the kennel to caring for my own dogs. I don’t mind larger dogs, I have taken care of a variety of sizes and breeds. I’m the go to in my family for dog sitting and care, as well as my sisters cats. I adore cats as well. I’ve had cats growing up and taken care of a few at the kennel I worked at.
Reviews
Emily has loved animals forever! She’s always had one it worked with them at shelters. The dogs flock to her wherever she goes! She would make a great pet caregiver to whoever needs it!
I worked with Emily and saw first hand how caring and loving she was to the dogs at the rescue. I wouldn’t trust many people with my animals but she is definitely one I would let care for them.

At my home I have a fenced in yard. There is a cat in the home but she stays upstairs usually. My living area is located in the basement with an entrance right to the yard. I would usually take my dog on walks as well as letting him out in the yard. Dogs are allowed on my furniture so it should be nice and cozy if that’s what they’re used to. If not then I would not allow it as to not confuse them with the rules of your home. If I were to pet sit at your home. I assume it is set up for your pet. I’m particularly clean especially as a pet owner, I would make sure it was nice and tidy. I take caring for other peoples pets especially serious given the fact they may be nervous or may have separation anxiety from their owners or home.
