For years I have watched family and neighborhood pets, and provided a loving environment for my own dogs. I have even trained and competed in dog agility competitions in the past! Today, I have a 50-pound pitbull/german-shepherd mix and a 90-pound American English coonhound in my home, and am no stranger to what it takes to care both for dogs that have anxiety and past trauma, and dogs that goofballs through and through.

Emily went above and beyond with our zoo! She dropped in for a visit and stayed extra time. She communicated well and even sent adorable pictures of all our fur babies. We have an extremely anxious Rottweiler and she did amazingly well with her, very patient and thought outside of the box with her challenges. We will absolutely be using Emily again.
Emily is absolutely wonderful with pets. She is responsible, cautious and caring, so you know your pets are safe and secure with her. However, past that, she simply adores animals, and especially dogs, and wants nothing more than to make them happy. She understands that every animal is different and has its own needs, likes and quirks. She is one of the few people I trust my pets with. I highly reccomend her.

As a dog mom myself, I know how anxiety-inducing it can be to leave your sweet pup with a stranger for the first time. My dog-sitting style is naturally very cautious (i.e. triple-checking instructions to ensure proper medications have been given, extra caution when entering and leaving a home to ensure pets don't get loose, etc). I will also go above and beyond to spoil your dog and make them feel at ease. Do they enjoy a nightly 15-minute tummy rub followed by a special goodnight song? You better believe I'll be scratching and singing. Do they have a favorite doggy puzzle? Leave it out and we'll do it every day! The bottom line is that I will show your dog the same compassion and care I would want someone to show mine.

A typical day
I love meeting dogs where they're at; there is no one-size-fits-all approach to crafting the perfect day! If your pup is a cuddler, I am happy to give them all the snuggles and tummy rubs they could ask for. If they want nothing more than to chase their ball, we can have a super fun fetch session! A typical day with your dog all depends on their unique needs and preferences.
