Pet care experience
I used to take care of shelter dogs at a mall storefront that allowed me to play with the dogs, take them on walks, and show them to people who wanted to take them home. I had to have training before I could start the volunteer position and am great at taking care of dogs. I love going on long walks and would love to have a furry friend join me! I live in Nopa and can take your dog to a variety of different parks. I have previously fostered senior pups through Muttville so I have experience caring of older dogs as well.

Emily was super helpful in taking care of Ocean and great about sending updates. We were gone for 10 days and she managed a difficult job of taking care of our puppy who was still learning to be house trained.

Emily is such a wonderful caregiver for my dog Vala. I always entrust her with taking care of my puppy when I’m out of town. Emily always gives Vala so much love and care, and updates me with photos of their park adventures. Vala absolutely loves spending time and bonding with Emily. In addition, the neighborhood Emily lives in is ideal for hosting dogs, and she always takes Vala to the park for some fun play dates.

A typical day
I love walking to GGP, Alamo Square, Duboce, and the Panhandle and playing fetch with my friends’ pups! I can take them to the dog parks to meet other dogs in the area if they enjoy meeting other pups!

I will be working from home mainly on Wednesdays and Fridays but sometimes other days of the week and am home most weekends so I would love to take advantage of my work from home days by caring for your pet and taking them on walks at the panhandle park and around the neighborhood!
