Pet care experience
I have a dog and a cat, Ive learned from them what works. I can do walks, I can scoop boxes, I can follow a schedule because I have one for my own pets. I love all animals and I can help any flagstaffian with their fur babies.
Reviews
Emilio was inconsistent with communication, so it was difficult to determine if visits were occurring as requested. They forgot about the time set up for the first meeting and greet. I had to ask for check-in confirmations, or they came hours after the appointed time based on when the cards were sent. I prefer not to have to micromanage a sitter and want to feel confident things are taken care of, or it ends up being a stressful experience for me.
Emilio is the most compassionate and loving let sitter we have ever had. Our dogs are like family and we would never just leave them with anybody. But we always could count on Emilio to love on our dogs like an uncle. He would always go above and beyond and would accommodate any needs we ever had (like letting our pup Winslow sleep under the covers with him at night). I highly recommend Emilio to anyone looking for a dog sitter!
Emilio is a great pet owner and sitter! While I was away in Vegas for a week and a half, Emilio watched my dog and cat (Fletcher and Miles). They were fed according to how I want them fed, Fletcher was walked and kept on schedule, and I returned home with both of my fur babies in fantastic shape!
Emilio was an amazing dog sitter for my Golden Retriever, Sage! I had to leave town for a weekend and Emilio boarded Sage while I was gone. I got multiple pictures each day of Sage to know that he was happy and in good hands. He also communicated with me every time he had a question or a concern, which I appreciated! Also, he was very flexible when I got back a little later than expected to pick Sage up. I will definitely be coming back to Emilio when I need a dog sitter! :-) Great experience.

I currently will not allow personal home care because my animals are wary of other animals. My dog is still a puppy and can “play” kind of aggressive. And my cat just plain doesn’t like other animals that isn’t my dog.
Information Emilio E. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about the dog’s temperament, with Flagstaff being so pet friendly it’s likely to come across other animals on walks and I need to be ready to communicate if the animal is friendly or not. I would like to know proper commands in order to re-center the animal’s attention. I like to let my dog wander on walks but it’s important to have them understand when it’s time to continue or come to my side. I don’t have breed preferences, as long as they are friendly to new people (Sitters specifically) it shouldn’t be a problem. Only thing I can’t handle is animals of larger breeds.
A typical day
The apartment that I live in is super close to Thorpe park walking distance wise. I can’t board animals in my own home because of the over active “playfulness” of my dog and the absolute indifference of my cat. But I can shuttle animals to parks to play fetch and let them run around, take them to Thorpe to walk along the trails, take them for a nice stroll through downtown, I can even bring them with me for my walks at Buffalo Park.
