I grew up with a large, mixed breed dog named Molly. With her by my side, I started walking and playing with neighborhood dogs. In highschool I started doing house stays and watches for family members and friends. It didn't matter the size or the breed, I was excited to get to know them. This past year I worked at Pet Smart as a Pet Care Specialist and worked with pet parents on finding the right tools to become successful pet owners. My responsibilities included feeding the animals, providing mental stimulation, cleaning their habitats, and ensuring the pet parent had all the right resources to raise a happy, healthy pet. I worked closely with the dog trainer and picked up some skills along the way. This summer, I've leash trained a couple of dogs and have helped their behavioral problems by giving them the psychological and physical exercise they needed. I am currently a Tufts University student studying Biology on the Pre-Veterinarian track.
