I grew up in Nicaragua, until I went to the University of Miami for college and my entire life I was surrounded by pets. My first dog growing up was a Pekingnese mix and she ended up having a puppies with a dachshund mix, so as you can imagine her puppies were very interesting. We kept 3 of her puppies from her litter and named them Charlie, Buddy and Diamond. Charlie and Buddy were great but Diamond was really the star of the show and lived to be 17 before she passed in 2019. We also had a labrador female named Crystal who had two litters because a neighborhood dog kept sneaking into our backyard and getting her pregnant. She was the best mom in the world though and taught her puppy Cooper to stay inside when the gate was open and to not get on the front porch without permission. Unfortunately, Crystal also passed away last year, but Cooper is still at home holding down the fort, although we can tell he misses his mom. And last but not least we have our two schnauzers, Sophie and Teddy. Sophie is Teddys mom and he was the only one to survive her litter. No matter how much time passes Teddy always remembers my voice and gets excited to see me, as though no time has passed. As you can tell my family and I have had a lot of pet losses in our family the past couple years and it makes me miss them even more. In college at the University of Miami, I lived with and took care of a Yorkie, a terrier mix and a labrador! You can imagine the different shenanigans they got into. Since living in Virginia I lived with an 8 year old cat named Crouton. She no longer lives with me (roommate moved out), but Ill always cherish her cuddles and comfort on rainy days. I unfortunately havent had a chance to become a pet-parent of my own the past couple years due to getting my Masters and working different jobs, therefore Rover is the perfect way for me to have some cute fur babies to play with and also help people out! I am currently working from home full-time throughout the week and have a flexible schedule to take your pup on walks! I am always able to step away if theres an emergency or if your pet needs anything.
