Emilie was fabulous with our difficult dog! We didn't even have time to introduce them because or usual walker/care giver had an emergency and she couldn't dogsit for us. Our chihuahua/wire hair terrier mix is not the friendliest dog, but Emilie came into our house as a stranger and was able to calm Prissy (she has a very appropriate name) down and get her comfortable, fed, walked and played with.

Emilie babysat my dog (Blue) several times when she lived in Chicago. I met her while she was working at the pet store and she was sincerely bonded with my dog. Blue is a rescued pit bull with anxiety and to see my dog listen and sit at the feet of an employee at the local dog store-I asked if she would ever watch her for me since we would be going to Michigan on business multiple times in the next few months. She watched Blue about 4 times in our home and we never had any mishaps. Blue was always happy to see her in store and in our home. Emilie showed us pictures of Blue at the dog park, Blue eating her favorite treats, and on one occasion Emilie saw we were out of our expensive food and instead of feeding Blue junk she bought out of pocket the over $30 bag for 5 lbs of food to make sure Blue wouldn't be exposed to anything less than what she was used to. It was clear that even when we weren't paying Emilie to watch our dog, she genuinely cared about her and our family like it was her own dog
