I have grown up surrounded by animals, as my father is a small animal veterinarian. In my lifetime, my family has owned: 6 dogs, 8 cats, 3 guinea pigs, 15 chickens, 8 sugar gliders, 3 horses, an iguana, 2 anoles, 2 conures, countless fish... all within my comfort zone! I have also worked at my father's vet practice on and off since I was in high school, so I not only have great skills when it comes to handling and caring for animals, but also an understanding of all that is required to keep your pet healthy.
