I've had dogs since I was a kid, and have loved them my whole life. Ask anyone I know and they’ll testify that anytime I see a dog in public, I get embarrassingly excited and have to ask if I can say hi. I’ve grown up with dogs, rescued them and helped friends with training. I’m very comfortable around all breeds and sizes. I have always had an innate understanding for the world of dogs. I've worked at doggy daycare and boarding facilities for over a year, and have cared for friend's and family's dogs. I have extensive experience in dog behavior and dog handling, and am certified in Pet First Aid & CPR. I have experience monitoring all types of dogs (over 50 at a time) at varying energy levels at play, while incorporating positive reinforcement training methods. I have administered medications to dogs and followed strict meal guidelines. I have experience walking dogs of all sizes and demeanors, and know how to redirect unwanted behavior such as pulling and reactivity. You can trust me because I am fluent in dog behavior and body language. I’m not afraid to be firm when I need to be, or get my hands dirty. Dogs communicate through energy and body language, and I have a keen understanding of this. I’m endlessly patient with man’s best friend and will work towards creating a positive relationship with them based on love and trust. I live in an apartment, but my dogs are happy as there is plenty of space to walk them and I take them on long walks and am able to attend to them all day as I work from home!
