Medical student-grew up with dogs
Pet care experience
I am a medical student who is studying for boards and have extra time before my rotations start. I have helped raise and train over 8 dogs throughout my life. Experience mainly with small dogs (Yorkies, Westies, Shiatsus and Mini schnauzers), but have also had various experiences house sitting and watching golden retrievers, german shepards, etc. I absolutely adore dogs of all shapes and sizes. They are family to me, not just a pet or animal.

Emilee is the absolute most caring dog lover. She takes special care of my dog, as if it were her own, and does a great job at building the relationship between her and my dog. I trust her to take care of my fur baby anytime. She’s also very reliable and professional.

I have experience crate training, babysitting, walking and disciplining dogs (no contact discipline, that is unnecessary and wrong.) I am patient and use treats as incentive. Love walking and spending time with dogs. My dogs do use an electric fence in our yard, but I also have leash extensions for dogs who need leashing. Dogs are loved and are meant to be engaged and interacted with.

A typical day
Walk the dog-chestnut ridge because of all the different trails and roads or Hamburg soccer club in lakeview. Also love going to the dog park, doing dog puzzles, playing frisbee or fetch of their choice etc.

I am currently studying for boards, so I would be able to come spend time at your house to keep the dog company, walk the dog during my breaks and make my own schedule to be sure they are checked in on.
