Cats and dogs, oh my!
Pet care experience
I currently work full time in Grand Rapids. I have had two golden retrievers that I grew up with. Both made it to 10, so I have some experience with senior dogs. I love and miss them so much. I currently have three cats (lost one cat in 2021) and love them so much as well. I don’t have experience with bathing cats or dogs but love to cuddle and play with them. I have experience with cleaning up accidents, and cleaning up litter boxes.

I keep my cats inside. I do not have a fenced in backyard so I would be keeping dogs on a leash outside while I’m outside with them.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs (soft foods only, allergies, preferences). I would need to know if your animal has any issues with walking a lot, using the bathroom or if they get sick often. Also knowing their daily activities (sleeps a lot or likes to play a lot) is helpful so I don’t worry about them being relaxed.
A typical day
I live in Greenville so I have access the trail around the corner from my house. So as weather permits, I can go on walks after work. I will throw balls or frisbees for them (or any special toy).

Availability
I work in Grand Rapids, so I’m not home during the day. However, I check their food and water at the beginning and end of the day. I also do their litter boxes either everyday or every other day. I play and snuggle daily.
