Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of all dogs of almost every breed. I currently have a very high maintenance Frenchie but have had dogs my whole life. I’m available to walk your dog in the Gowanus/Park Slope area but am open to travel further out to you.

I've known Emilce for several years now. I've trusted her with taking care of my little boston terrier on several occasions. She is a great with dogs, attentive and genuinely caring. I hope you consider her for this position.
Emilce is perhaps the best person an owner could use for a dog sitter, ever. Not only does she genuinely and passionately care for dogs, but she is extremely responsible. At the risk of getting personal, she is the only person whom, out of 3 other roommates, shows the most interest for their shared bearded dragon Beaker. Though not hers, it might as well be, as she is the only one whom I've seen cares for its food, shelter, and general well-being. Granted, he (the bearded dragon) is not a dog, but I've seen that same commitment towards Beaker translate to random people's pets--dogs especially--and I am tremendously sure she'd make a great addition to the home by way of dog sitter!

I currently have a dog who has IVDD so I am experienced with that if that’s something you’re struggling with. I think it’s really important to meet your dog before I house sit them so that they can familiarize themselves with me and gain that trust but if your dog is generally friendly and you’re in a bind, I’m happy to help and watch them in an emergency.

A typical day
There is a great dog park in Park Slope that I love to take my dog to. If your dog is friendly with other dogs, I’d be more than happy to take them there or to Prospect Park. I’m also happy to just walk them around the block if that’s their normal routine.

Availability
I have a few hours a day every day to walk your dog or pay them a house visit. I am not currently house sitting at my house because my dog has special needs and can’t move too much but I am willing to house sit at yours!
