Pet care experience
Hello! I have always been an animal lover, and have cared for many dogs and cats throughout my life. I currently have a dog and a cat of my own, and look forward to showering your beloved pet with the same love that I give to my own fur-babies. I have a particular interest in older animals, as both of my pets are seniors and I understand sometimes they require a little extra love. I feel comfortable administering medications as needed. I work as a registered nurse, and I regularly give meds to my two special-needs animals. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet, especially when they have specific instructions. So I am here to put you at ease ❤️ I adore cats and LOVE caring for your feline friends! Also happy to bring in packages/mail, water plants-- whatever you may need in your home while you're away.

She was able to go from having a rough first visit where my cat was scared and territorial to the third day my cat almost sitting on her lap. I usually make home-visits to spend time with your pet in the comfort of their own space. Happy to provide lots of cuddles, play time, walks, or gentle companionship-- whatever will make your pet feel most comfortable while they're away from their mom or dad. For dogs-- I will never take your pet off their leash while walking, and can be mindful of meeting other animals to ensure low-stress outings. For cats-- happy to interact with your cat the way they feel most comfortable. I am open to having your pet stay in my home-- let me know if this is your option of choice and we can discuss further!

A typical day
Most of my visits are drop-ins. I am happy to help out taking in mail, watering plants, etc. I usually start by saying hello to the pet and then completing any tasks such as feeding, refilling water, cleaning litterbox, etc. And then spend the remainder of time offering quality play, pets, a walk, etc-- whatever will be most enriching to your animal!

Availability
I work from home, so I can easily take breaks to visit your pet as needed. I am happy to spend the time with your pet to make sure they feel at ease. I have a small 6 month puppy and older cat in my home. If your dog is friendly with cats and puppies, we can discuss having them come to my house!
