Emerald with so wonderful with our pup Trudy who is a senior and has some special needs (can’t be around other dogs, limited activity, meds). She really got to know Trudy, paying attention and picking up on cues, to give her the very best care. We’re so glad we found Emerald!

Emerald gave both of our cats great snuggles and sent us adorable pictures throughout their stay. When we went to pick them up, neither of the cats wanted to leave :). Highly recommend her, very professional, and cared a lot for our pets.

If boarding is needed, I live in a large apartment with plenty of space for your pet to get settled in. For pets in need of walking, there are two large parks nearby to explore and play. When caring for pets in your home, I am serious about safety and security. Whatever space or routines your pet needs I am ready to learn and provide consistency. For the safety of your animal, I am familiar with the local veterinary and emergency vet clinics - please tell me your preferences.

What special tricks or training does your pet have that I can use with them to provide structure and enrichment? What are their high value treats? Are there any house rules you are trying to enforce with them (on entry, furniture, kitchen, etc)? What kind of grooming would you like me to provide? And very importantly, what is your vet information and is there anything I need to know about their health? I have experience and love to offer for sick, terminal, and special needs pets.
A typical day
I love to cuddle but am very respectful of an animal's space and boundaries. Learning the personality of each pet is such a joy. We can go for long walks around the neighborhood, to the parks less than 1 minute away, or even out for a drive to a favorite spot of theirs. Teaching tricks and providing mental enrichment is very important to me to ensure your pet feels right at home.
